Samit and Anvay may be just nine and six but cricket may mean as much to them as it does to their father - Rahul Dravid.

Emulating a champion is never easy but Rahul Dravid may be grooming his two sons to better even his records in the years to come. Young Samit and Anvay were seen diving fearlessly at Brabourne Stadium on Friday - a sign that cricket may be their calling just as it was for their father.
Although nine and six years old respectively, Samit and Anvay were seen having a great time with stars of Rajasthan Royals for company. Dravid is the mentor of the Indian Premier League franchise and players of the side - especially Australia's young gun Steve Smith - appeared to be giving some valuable tips to the youngsters.
Dravid himself began playing cricket from an early age of 12 and even represented Karnataka's at the U-15, U-17 and U-19 levels. He would then go on to score 13,288 Test runs and another 10,889 in ODIs before retiring in 2012. He is now involved in commentating duties, mentoring the Royals and what looks like keeping a close watch on his children. Interestingly, Samit in 2012 - then aged seven - had been seen wielding a bat in what was his father's last Test. He showed good technique in hitting a tennis ball and several emotional fans at the M. Chinnaswamy stadium saw it as a sign of cricketing succession. (Read more here)
