The actor, who has probably spent much of his adult life perfecting his impersonation of WWE-wrestler-turned-movie-star Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson's ringside mannerisms, has bonded with his idol before on Twitter. A month ago, in fact, Dhawan's fans got Johnson to wish him a happy birthday. A few weeks later, it was Johnson's birthday, and Dhawan's wishes were acknowledged by the 'Furious 7' star.
The 'ABCD 2' star has now taken their interactions a step further via an interview conducted by film critic/journalist Rajeev Masand, who spoke to Johnson recently for his upcoming movie, 'San Andreas'. In the interview, Masand played a pre-recorded video message in which Dhawan imitated The Rock's signature style of speaking and made a couple of requests.
Johnson, who beamed throughout the duration of the message, obliged his requests and called his impersonation "very good".
