Baby Elephant Collapses, Other Elephants Move in to Help

A young elephant collapsed on a busy road in South Africa, and the rest of the herd helps get it back on its feet.

Elephants never forget, and they never leave a friend behind. This inspiring footage comes from the Kruger National Park in South Africa. A herd of elephants was crossing a busy road, when one of the baby elephants suddenly collapsed. The rest of the elephants, being intensely social creatures, immediately react and try to help the elephant calf. With feet and trunks, adult and other juvenile elephants are able to coax their fallen friend back into action. It's a quick, two-minute feel-good story that has definitely brightened our day.
