Jeanette and Alexander Toczko had been married for 75 years. In the last stage of their lives, they were in hospice care.
About a month ago, Alexander broke his hip and was bedridden. Even Jeanette became ill soon after.
They started dating when they were 8 years old and married each other in 1940 before moving to San Diego in the seventies.
They had 5 children, 10 grand-kids and 6 great-grand-children.
Shortly after celebrating their 75th anniversary, Alexander passed away in Jeanette's arms. Jeanette said "wait for me. I'll be there soon." She passed away a few hours later.
