Close on the heels of 'Welcome To Karachi' comes another satire, 'Bangistan'. Starring Riteish Deshmukh and Pulkit Samrat as two bumbling terrorists (errorists?), the trailer for 'Bangistan' was uploaded online on Thursday night.
Directed by former film critic Karan Anshuman, 'Bangistan' is a comedy about a fictitious country that has Muslim and Hindi extremists in its north and south parts respectively.
Unbeknownst to each other, both parties hatch the same plan: to carry out a bomb blast at an international conference of religions in Poland by disguising themselves as a member of the other religion. Deshmukh plays Hafeez Bin Ali, who pretends to be Ishwarchand Sharma. Samrat plays Praveen Chaturvedi, who becomes Allahrakha Khan. Jacqueline Fernandez, who has a small role as a bar owner, shows up in the trailer for a few seconds.
