As a result of this support, Gould received a makeover and a paying gig at Michael's On East in Sarasota, FL. While this is inspiring in and of itself, it actually gets better. Donald says that the opportunity has increased his sense of worth, and that he's now hoping to get in touch with his son, who he had been too embarrassed to reach out to in the past.

Donald is 51 years old, and he is known around his city for frequently stunning crowds with his amazing talent. I could listen to him for hours!

The 31-year-old had first cleared the Civil Services Exam in 2010 and had been allotted the Indian Revenue Services (IRS). But the revenue department refused to giver her a posting because of her deformity and her height (she can't twist her arms because of her deformed spine and she's only 4 feet 5 inches tall). The official reason given was  her "inability to push, pull and lift".

But even after the revenue department eventually relented, the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) refused to give her a posting. But that didn't deter her either.

When the nurse comes into his room, he asks her to describe what is happening outside the window. Her response is truly shocking! This beautiful story is a great reminder that no matter your situation, it's all about perspective.
